Governor McMaster announces weekly schedule including voting plans

Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have announced their schedules for the week of November 4, 2024.

On Tuesday, November 5, at 9:00 AM, Lt. Gov. Evette will cast her vote in the general election at 1720 Reid School Road in Taylors, South Carolina. Later that morning at 10:30 AM, both Gov. McMaster and First Lady Peggy McMaster will vote at the Lourie Senior Center (Ward I) located at 1650 Park Circle in Columbia.

The following day, Wednesday, November 6, at 3:30 PM, Gov. McMaster will be joined by members of the General Assembly to make a cabinet agency announcement on the first floor of the State House at 1100 Gervais Street in Columbia.

On Thursday, November 7, at 11:30 AM, Gov. McMaster will participate in a media availability session with South Carolina Superintendent of Education Ellen Weaver and leadership from SLED regarding school safety efforts. This event will take place at the South Carolina Department of Education located at 849 Learning Lane in West Columbia.

Friday's schedule includes an event where Gov. McMaster will be joined by state and federal partners to announce the launch of Farm and Forest Recovery Resource Days. This announcement is scheduled for Friday, November 8, at 2:00 PM on the first floor of the State House.

Finally, on Saturday, November 9, Lt. Gov. Evette is set to deliver a keynote speech during the Field of Honor Opening Ceremony held on International Paper Lawn at 700 South Kaminski Street in Georgetown.

Gov. Henry McMaster's previous week's schedule included various meetings and events such as speaking engagements and policy discussions held between October 28 and November 1 across different locations within South Carolina.
