U.S. Senator Tim Scott, a member of the Senate Small Business Committee, recently met with Kelly Loeffler, who has been nominated by President-elect Trump to head the U.S. Small Business Administration. Following their meeting, Senator Scott issued a statement expressing his support for Loeffler.

“It was great sitting down with my friend and former colleague, Kelly Loeffler," Scott stated. He highlighted her background and accomplishments: "Kelly grew up on her family’s farm in Illinois and worked her way up to achieve barrier-breaking success in the business world."

Senator Scott emphasized that Loeffler's life experiences provide her with a distinct perspective on economic issues and the environment necessary to foster entrepreneurship and opportunity.
