Low Tide Brewing has announced plans to expand its operations in Charleston County, South Carolina. The craft beer manufacturer is set to invest $22.2 million in the expansion, which is expected to create 33 new jobs. Founded on Johns Island in 2016, Low Tide Brewing is known for producing award-winning craft beers and providing unique community experiences through its brewery and taproom.
The expansion will see the company move into a 26,800-square-foot facility at 0 Beer Garden Way on Johns Island. This new site will feature a state-of-the-art brewing system and event space, aimed at increasing production capacity to meet growing demand for its wholesale products and enhancing visitor experiences.
