Southern Wall Products, Inc., a manufacturer of drywall finishing products, has announced its decision to establish the company's first South Carolina operation in Anderson County. This move represents a $23 million investment and is expected to create 28 new jobs.
The company, established in 1981, produces and sells finishing solutions for the drywall industry under the Ruco brand name. Its product range includes ready-mix joint compound, ceiling textures, setting compounds, and primers. Currently operating one manufacturing facility in Tucker, Georgia, Southern Wall Products will enhance its capabilities to serve customers throughout the Southeast with this new facility located at 1632 Pearman Dairy Road in Anderson.
