The schedules for the week of May 13, 2024, for Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have been announced.
On Monday, May 13 at 9:00 AM, Lt. Gov. Evette participated in the SC7 Coastal Clean Up with PalmettoPride at Hurls’ Rock Park, Myrtle Beach, S.C. Later that day at 2:00 PM, Gov. McMaster held a press conference to discuss the end of the legislative session at the South Carolina State House.
Lt. Gov. Evette was scheduled to speak to the Rotary Club of Spartanburg on Tuesday, May 14 at 12:30 PM at Piedmont Club in Spartanburg.
The previous week's schedule for Gov. McMaster included several policy meetings on Monday, May 6 and Tuesday, May 7 in his office at the State House in Columbia.
On Wednesday, May 8, he attended the STEM Signing Day at the State House and later that evening joined the German American Chamber of Commerce South Carolina Chapter Event at Bierkeller Brewing Company.
Thursday's agenda saw him join state and local officials for a briefing regarding hurricane preparations and tour the Hurricane Hunter aircraft in North Charleston before visiting and touring the National Weather Service.
He also had an agency meeting and an economic development meeting before speaking at an economic development reception on Thursday evening.
Finally, on Saturday, May 11 he attended the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte, N.C.
