COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster’s schedules for the week of May 6, 2024, have been released.

Lt. Gov. Evette's week began on Monday, May 6, with her attendance at the Ignite Women’s Brunch at the Myrtle Beach Classic hosted by the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce. The event took place at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach.

On Tuesday, May 7, Lt. Gov. Evette is scheduled to attend the 10th-anniversary event for Precise Welding Services in Cheraw, S.C. The following day, Wednesday, May 8, she will participate in the Women in Manufacturing Chapter Meeting at SixAxis in Andrews, S.C.

Meanwhile, Governor McMaster's schedule for Wednesday, May 8, includes attendance at the STEM Signing Day at the State House and the German American Chamber of Commerce South Carolina Chapter Event, both in Columbia, S.C.

Lt. Gov. Evette's week will continue with her attendance at the Myrtle Beach Classic from Thursday, May 9, to Sunday, May 12.

In a separate note, Governor McMaster's schedule for April 29, 2024, was also detailed. The Governor had a busy day with various engagements such as attending the Small Business Day, speaking at the Southern Regional Education Board Commission on Artificial Intelligence meeting, and presenting awards at the South Carolina Governor’s Opioid & Addiction Summit.

The Governor's week also included meetings with members of the South Carolina House of Representatives and Senate, as well as attending events like the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce’s annual reception and the Nucor Steel Berkeley groundbreaking ceremony.

Throughout the week, Governor McMaster participated in policy discussions, calls with fellow governors, and various speaking engagements, including at the South Carolina Republican Party Convention and the Blossoms of Hope Endowment Gala.

The schedules of Gov. Henry McMaster and Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette demonstrate their commitment to engaging with the community and addressing key issues facing the state of South Carolina.
