Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have a packed schedule for the week of April 21.
On Tuesday, April 22 at 9:30 AM, Gov. McMaster and Lt. Gov. Evette will attend Milo’s Tea Company's facility opening in Moore.
The following day, Wednesday, April 23 at 8:30 AM, Lt. Gov. Evette will speak at the EMS Legislative Breakfast in Columbia. Later at 10:00 AM, Gov. McMaster and First Lady Peggy McMaster will be present at the College of Arts and Sciences Naming Ceremony at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Gov. McMaster will then participate in the SC STEM Signing Day at the Statehouse at 12:30 PM.
On Thursday, April 24, at 1:15 PM, Gov. McMaster, alongside Superintendent of Education Ellen Weaver, will partake in the South Carolina Teacher of the Year Ceremony and Press Conference at the Governor's Mansion. The press conference is scheduled to commence at approximately 3:00 PM. In the afternoon at 2:30 PM, Lt. Gov. Evette will visit the YMCA Summerville. Her day concludes at 6:00 PM as the keynote speaker for the National Council of Insurance Legislators Spring National Meeting’s Welcome Reception in Charleston.
Gov. McMaster’s schedule for the previous week of April 14 included several engagements, starting with economic development calls on Monday, April 14. He attended a groundbreaking ceremony on April 15 for Palmetto Citizens Corporate Headquarters. On April 16, he spoke at The Battery Show South in Atlanta and had policy meetings.
April 17 involved office hours and meetings with Hammond School students and at the German American Chamber of Commerce's Business Conference. His week ended with an agency call on April 18.
