TL+CO Business Solutions, based in Utah, announced its decision to set up its first South Carolina operation in Beaufort County. The initiative involves a $7.5 million investment and aims to create 35 new jobs. The company's new 15,000-square-foot facility, set to begin operations in April 2025, will function as a distribution and kitting facility located at 1236 Trask Parkway in Seabrook.

The company offers business intelligence and strategic supply chain management services, primarily to the aerospace, defense, space, and automotive sectors. TL+CO's President and CEO, Linda Martinez, along with Executive Vice President and COO Tim DiDonato, expressed their excitement about the move, praising the local skilled workforce and the region's business environment. "We’re thrilled to call Beaufort County home. The Lowcountry’s skilled workforce, strong sense of community and pro-business environment made this an easy decision."

Governor Henry McMaster highlighted South Carolina's appealing business climate and the creation of 35 new jobs, recognizing the state's "competitive business environment and world-class workforce." Commerce Secretary Harry M. Lightsey III echoed these sentiments, noting the pro-business climate as an ideal environment for growth.

Beaufort County Council Chairwoman Alice Howard and SouthernCarolina Alliance Chairman Marty Sauls also welcomed TL+CO. Sauls emphasized the significance of the 35 jobs, noting each represents "a brighter future for someone in our region."

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits and granted $100,000 to Beaufort County for construction and improvements associated with the project's development.
