ALLTAPE Adhesive Manufacturing Inc., a company specializing in adhesive products, has announced its decision to establish its first operation in South Carolina. The new facility will be located in Lexington County and represents a $70 million investment, creating 130 new jobs.
Founded in Germany and part of ATP Group, ALLTAPE is known for developing sustainable and solvent-free adhesive products. These water-based adhesives serve various industries such as automotive, transportation, foam, and plastics. The planned facility will cover 125,000 square feet at the Saxe Gotha Industrial Park.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to this project and awarded a $600,000 Set-Aside grant to assist with site preparation and construction costs in Lexington County.
“Launching our first production site in Lexington County, South Carolina marks a significant milestone in our expansion into the U.S. market," said ATP Group CEO Daniel Heini. "This substantial investment reflects ATP’s commitment to growth and innovation, and we are excited to commence operations in the South Carolina region.”

Secretary of Commerce Harry M. Lightsey III also welcomed ALLTAPE's move: “We are proud to welcome another international manufacturing company to South Carolina. This $70 million investment in Lexington County will create even more opportunity for our people and help continue to move our state’s economy forward."
Lexington County Council Chairman Todd Cullum expressed enthusiasm about the project's local impact: "Lexington County is proud to welcome ALLTAPE and their significant investment of $70 million to our community... We look forward to the positive impact this project will have on our local economy and workforce for years to come."
