Smartpress, a commercial online printing company, has announced plans to establish its first South Carolina operation in Spartanburg County. The $9.6 million investment is expected to create 150 new jobs.
Headquartered in Minnesota, Smartpress is known as one of the fastest-growing printers in North America for businesses and creative professionals. The company operates from seven locations across the United States and ships hundreds of orders daily.
The new facility will be located at 1061 Duncan Reidville Road in Duncan, spanning 94,000 square feet. This strategic move aims to better serve East Coast customers. Operations are projected to commence in November 2024. Those interested in joining the team can visit Smartpress' careers page.
The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to this project.
