Baseball America magazine has ranked the University of South Carolina baseball recruiting class as the 16th best in the country, according to gamecocksonline.com.
The ranking marks the 12th consecutive season that BA has rated the Gamecocks' recruiting class.
UCLA was ranked the top recruiting class in the country, followed by Florida, Vanderbilt, Arkansas and Tennessee.
Carolina is coming off a season in which the Gamecocks went 34-23, including 16-14 in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), before bowing out the NCAA Regionals.
The SEC has 11 schools in the BA's top 25, including South Carolina.
Additionally, the SEC has nine of the top 16 classes in the BA.
