Gov. McMaster and state officials outline April 7, 2025, week engagements

Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have announced their schedules for the week of April 7, 2025. On Monday, April 7, at 12:15 PM, Gov. McMaster spoke to the Columbia Rotary Club, at Seawell's in Columbia, S.C. Later that day, at 2:30 PM, he was joined by SLED Chief Mark Keel and various law enforcement agencies to discuss efforts to combat dogfighting at the SLED Forensics Services Laboratory.

On Wednesday, April 9, at 10:00 AM, Gov. McMaster will speak at the South Carolina Resilience Conference at the Hyatt Regency Greenville. Following that, he is scheduled to participate in a virtual Santee Cooper Advisory Board meeting at 11:30 AM. This meeting will be live-streamed on Santee Cooper's website. Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Evette will attend the Republican State Leadership Committee Women's Summit in Boca Raton, FL, from Wednesday, April 9, to Thursday, April 10.

Gov. McMaster's schedule for the previous week, beginning March 31, 2025, included multiple office engagements at the Statehouse in Columbia, S.C. He participated in an economic development call, a policy meeting, and held meetings with a member of the South Carolina Senate. On April 1, he oversaw a State Fiscal Accountability Authority meeting and addressed the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance Legislative Reception.

On April 2, Gov. McMaster attended the United States Supreme Court's oral arguments for Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic in Washington, D.C., and spoke at a luncheon thereafter. Later, on April 4, he was involved in an economic development call and presented the Order of the Palmetto at the Greenville Drive Opening Game, followed by a call with the parents of Nate Baker.
