Blackhorse Steel Works, an advanced steel solutions provider, is set to establish operations in Bamberg County, South Carolina. The company's investment of $5.2 million is expected to create 40 new jobs. Blackhorse specializes in various steel services, including cutting, welding, bending, forming, and precision processing for industrial and commercial projects.

The facility will be located at 19110 Heritage Highway in Denmark and will cover 107,000 square feet. It will focus on the fabrication of miscellaneous and structural steel components. The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has awarded a $150,000 Rural Infrastructure Fund grant to Bamberg County to support building improvements.
