Gov. McMaster's weekly schedule includes bill signings and public addresses

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have announced their schedules for the week of August 19.

On Wednesday, August 21 at 11:00 AM, Gov. McMaster will hold a ceremonial bill signing for S. 1021, the Abandoned Building Tax Credit bill, at Savage Craft Ale Works, located at 430 Center Street in West Columbia.

Later that day at 12:00 PM, Lt. Gov. Evette will address the Sumter Kiwanis Club at the Sumter North Hope Center, 904 N. Main Street in Sumter.

At 4:30 PM on the same day, Lt. Gov. Evette will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Courtyard Columbia Downtown at the University of South Carolina, situated at 630 Assembly Street in Columbia.

Gov. McMaster's schedule for the previous week included several notable engagements:

On Monday, August 12 and Tuesday, August 13, he attended the Republican Governors Association’s Executive Roundtable Quarterly meeting in Aspen, CO. The meetings involved discussions with fellow governors and various events organized by the association.

Upon his return to South Carolina on Thursday, August 15, Gov. McMaster was present at his office in the State House for several meetings including a ceremonial bill signing for S.142 and discussions with policy advisors and a member of the South Carolina Congressional Delegation.

On Friday, August 16 at 11:30 AM, he spoke at the South Carolina Advanced Nuclear Energy Forum held at the University of South Carolina Alumni Center on Senate Street in Columbia and later attended an economic development meeting.

Finally, on Saturday evening at 7:00 PM, Gov. McMaster addressed attendees of the 57th Annual South Carolina Republican Party’s Silver Elephant Gala at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on Lincoln Street.
