Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster’s Weekly Schedules for March 18, 2024

Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have a busy schedule lined up for the week of March 18, 2024.

On Tuesday, March 19, Governor McMaster will be involved in two events. At 10:00 AM, he will be at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., to provide an update on the USS Yorktown environmental remediation project. Later that day, at 2:00 PM, he will hold a ceremonial bill signing for H. 3594, Constitutional Carry, at the State House in Columbia, S.C.

Thursday, March 21 will see Governor McMaster and First Lady Peggy McMaster attending the All Kids Bike Program Reveal at John P. Thomas Elementary School in Columbia, S.C. Following this, Lt. Gov. Evette will speak at the South Carolina Healthy Business Challenge Spring Seminar Luncheon in Greer, S.C. Governor McMaster will then attend the Continental Tire Headquarters Celebration in Fort Mill, S.C.

Wrapping up the week, on Saturday, March 23, Lt. Gov. Evette will be the keynote speaker at the 67th Ghana Independence Day Celebration in Spartanburg, S.C.

In a separate event from March 11, Governor McMaster's schedule included various meetings and engagements. The week started with a policy meeting on Monday, followed by economic development meetings on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Governor McMaster conducted more meetings, presented the Order of the Palmetto, and recognized American Red Cross Month with First Lady Peggy McMaster. Thursday included more engagements, such as presenting the Order of the Palmetto and speaking at the Department of Administration’s Executive Institute Final Session. The week concluded with Governor McMaster speaking at the 223rd Hibernian Dinner on Saturday.
