CHARLESTON, S.C. – Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) issued the following statement on the public opening of the International African American Museum.
“I am excited to express my warmest congratulations and enthusiasm for the grand opening of the International African American Museum,” said Senator Scott. “It is a testament to the growth of our great nation that the sacrifices, achievements, and legacies of African Americans will be enshrined for all to see. It is my hope that the exhibits will bring a message of hope, empowerment, unity, and understanding for future generations.”
