Here is where the new World War II Memorial will be placed at Warbird Park. That’s Kings Highway to the top right and Farrow Parkway in yellow, below. The memorial site will be visible from both roads, inviting more people to visit Warbird Park and experience Myrtle Beach’s military history first-hand. A trail system will connect all of the markers and memorials, too. By the way, you can see the results of the recent tree survey at Warbird Park on this aerial view. The park has about 500 trees in it!
