The 2022 Red Shoes Run at Rose Hill Plantation presented by Optim Orthopedics will take place Saturday, November 5 at The Mansion at Rose Hill Plantation in Bluffton, SC at 8:00AM. The annual 5K event benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities© (RMHC©) of the Coastal Empire. This year’s 5K Run/Walk and Kid’s Fun Run is open to all ages and fitness levels and features an all-new course inside the gates of Bluffton’s beautiful Rose Hill Plantation. Nestled among majestic oaks and magnolia trees, the course is surrounded by a stunning low country landscape that features gorgeous marsh views, acres of open green space, and undisturbed wildlife. The 5K concludes with the Kid’s Fun Run and post-race celebration on the grounds of the exclusive Mansion at Rose Hill. The celebration will include the awards presentation for the fastest overall male and female runners and age group winners, door prizes, music, and fun for the entire family. The 2022 Red Shoes Run at Rose Hill is presented by Optim Orthopedics. With offices in Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, and throughout southeast Georgia, Optim Orthopedics is an award-winning multi-specialty orthopedic practice that also provides imaging and therapy services. About the Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire Since 1987, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of the Coastal Empire has served families of seriously ill and injured children coping with the stress and expense of daily living while trying to be close and emotionally strong for their child. The Ronald McDonald House is located on the campus of Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah, GA and allows families to remain close to their children while receiving treatment at area hospitals and medical facilities; including the Dwaine and Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital. The Ronald McDonald House is more than just a room and a hot meal; it is a “Home Away from Home” for children and their families. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile provides dental examinations and preventive treatment to children between the ages of 3 to 11; many of whom have never been to the dentist. The Care Mobile operates in Beaufort, Hampton and Jasper counties in South Carolina. All participants receive a colorful 2022 Red Shoes Run t-shirt and the first 100 registered will also receive a pair of red and white striped socks to wear on race day.
