City of Myrtle Beach issued the following announcement on March 18.
Time is running out! Nominate someone who exemplifies leadership in his or her volunteer efforts to veterans groups in the Grand Strand community for The Colonel Robert Hawkins Veteran Volunteer Service Award. The Myrtle Beach award is open to nominees until Friday, April 1. The person you nominate makes a difference to those they serve, and they do not have to be a veteran.
