Mount Pleasant, S.C. (March 2) - Owner Shannon Campbell and salon stylists, joined by Mayor Haynie and Councilmembers Laura Hyatt, Howard Chapman, P.E., and John Iacofano, along with Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Director of Development Rebecca Imholz with fellow Chamber Members, participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Shag Salon, located at 3510 Park Avenue Blvd Suite 101.
You might ask how the Shag Salon got its name. Originally a 1970s hairstyle, this wild and untamed hairdo resonated so deeply that it became a timeless fashion staple. Today's version of "The Shag" is choppy ends, round, face-framing layers, and eye-skimming fringe but its legendary status still remains the same.
