The third quarter of 2021: Mount Pleasant experienced a 19.6% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Mount Pleasant rose by $86,500 while total sales decreased by 37.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 453 homes sold, with a median sale price of $528,000 - a 19.6% increase over the $441,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 724 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,817, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
