The third quarter of 2021: Home prices in Edisto Island fell

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Edisto Island fell by $21,000 while total sales remained unchanged with nine homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $459,000 - a 4.4% decrease over the $480,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Edisto Island in the third quarter of 2020, as well.

The median sales tax in Edisto Island for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,789, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
