How did home prices perform in James Island during the third quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in James Island rose by $64,950 while total sales decreased by 35.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 52 homes sold, with a median sale price of $419,950 - a 18.3% increase over the $355,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 81 homes sold in James Island in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in James Island for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,291, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
