Rising home prices in Summerville in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Summerville rose by $57,000 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,000 - a 26.1% increase over the $218,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Summerville in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Summerville for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $952, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
