Median home prices in North Charleston rose to $225,000 in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in North Charleston rose by $35,000 while total sales decreased by 31.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 254 homes sold, with a median sale price of $225,000 - a 18.4% increase over the $190,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 369 homes sold in North Charleston in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in North Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $821, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
