Home prices increased in James Island during August 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2021 in James Island rose by $33,000 while total sales decreased by 71%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2021, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $405,000 - a 8.9% increase over the $372,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 31 homes sold in James Island in August 2020.

The median sales tax in James Island for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,291, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for August 2021.
