The first half of 2021: Home prices in Isle of Palms increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Isle of Palms rose by $89,500 while total sales increased by 19.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 121 homes sold, with a median sale price of $775,000 - a 13.1% increase over the $685,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 101 homes sold in Isle of Palms in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Isle of Palms for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,302, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
