What happened to the median home price in Edisto Island during the second quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Edisto Island rose by $145,000 while total sales increased by 80%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $550,000 - a 35.8% increase over the $405,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Edisto Island in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Edisto Island for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,789, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
