Pricing for the median home in Mount Pleasant increased during the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Mount Pleasant rose by $93,500 while total sales increased by 11.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 575 homes sold, with a median sale price of $524,500 - a 21.7% increase over the $431,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 515 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,817, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
