Melrose home prices rose in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Melrose rose by $90,750 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $276,750 - a 48.8% increase over the $186,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Melrose in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Melrose for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,201, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
