Median home prices in North Charleston rose to $209,500 in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in North Charleston rose by $26,500 while total sales increased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 318 homes sold, with a median sale price of $209,500 - a 14.5% increase over the $183,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 265 homes sold in North Charleston in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in North Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $821, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
