The median sale price of a home sold in June 2021 in Charleston rose by $77,750 while total sales decreased by 21.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2021, there were 266 homes sold, with a median sale price of $397,750 - a 24.3% increase over the $320,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 337 homes sold in Charleston in June 2020.

The median sales tax in Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,635, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for June 2021.
