Berkeley Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jun. 8.
The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, the leading voice for the business community, announced on June 2nd the appointment of Todd Buddin, President & CEO of First National Bank of South Carolina as President of the 2021 Berkeley Chamber of Commerce. Buddin succeeds Clarence Wright formally the Southern Division Manager – Gas Operations of Dominion Energy who has taken a new position in Georgia.
“Serving as the new President of the Berkeley Chamber’s Board of Directors is an incredible honor” said Todd Buddin, Berkeley Chamber President. “I am excited about the opportunity to work with such a diverse and talented board, who has developed a bold pro-business agenda. Improving and growing business opportunities in the area is key to our success and input from our business community will help us get it right. Our mission is to provide value-added benefits to our membership as well as advocacy for the voice of our business community. Buddin is a Walterboro native with 30 years of banking experience. He is a 1987 graduate of Francis Marion University with a bachelor’s degree in business. He is also a 2011 graduate of The Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
