Ponderosa home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Ponderosa rose by $48,150 while total sales remained unchanged with eight homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $219,000 - a 28.2% increase over the $170,850 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Ponderosa in the second half of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Ponderosa for 2019 was $833. In 2018, the median sales tax was $772. This marks an increase of 7.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.4%.
