Isle of Palms home prices fall in December 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2019 in Isle of Palms fell by $47,500 while total sales increased by 125%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2019, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $725,000 - a 6.1% decrease over the $772,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Isle of Palms in December 2018.

The median sales tax in Isle of Palms for 2019 was $6,302. In 2018, the median sales tax was $6,073. This marks an increase of 3.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.9%.
