Hollywood home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Hollywood rose by $5,700 while total sales decreased by 24.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 44 homes sold, with a median sale price of $259,950 - a 2.2% increase over the $254,250 median sale price for the previous year. There were 58 homes sold in Hollywood in 2016.

The median sales tax in Hollywood for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,113, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for 2017.
