Hollywood home prices rise in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Hollywood rose by $10,900 while total sales decreased by 30.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $259,900 - a 4.4% increase over the $249,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 33 homes sold in Hollywood in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Hollywood for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,113, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2017.
