Ponderosa home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Ponderosa rose by $19,000 while total sales decreased by 38.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $219,000 - a 9.5% increase over the $200,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Ponderosa in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Ponderosa for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $736, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
