Pierpont home prices fall in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Pierpont fell by $11,950 while total sales remained unchanged with six homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $168,500 - a 6.6% decrease over the $180,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Pierpont in the second half of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Pierpont for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,116, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
