Hollywood home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Hollywood rose by $34,000 while total sales decreased by 44.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,950 - a 14.1% increase over the $241,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Hollywood in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Hollywood for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,113, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
