James Island home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in James Island rose by $36,000 while total sales decreased by 19.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 65 homes sold, with a median sale price of $297,000 - a 13.8% increase over the $261,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 81 homes sold in James Island in the second quarter of 2016.
