Isle of Palms home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Isle of Palms fell by $32,125 while total sales increased by 8.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 61 homes sold, with a median sale price of $685,000 - a 4.5% decrease over the $717,125 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 56 homes sold in Isle of Palms in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Isle of Palms for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,408, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
