Mount Pleasant home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Mount Pleasant rose by $50,375 while total sales decreased by 29.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 422 homes sold, with a median sale price of $419,875 - a 13.6% increase over the $369,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 601 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,649, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
