Awendaw home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Awendaw fell by $265,000 while total sales decreased by 57.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $310,000 - a 46.1% decrease over the $575,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Awendaw in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Awendaw for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $993, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
