Folly Beach home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Folly Beach rose by $287,000 while total sales decreased by 45.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $770,000 - a 59.4% increase over the $483,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Folly Beach in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Folly Beach for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,233, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
