Pierpont home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Pierpont fell by $10,450 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $172,000 - a 5.7% decrease over the $182,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Pierpont in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Pierpont for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,116, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
