Hollywood home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Hollywood fell by $131,000 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $225,000 - a 36.8% decrease over the $356,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Hollywood in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Hollywood for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,113, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
