Folly Beach home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Folly Beach rose by $84,100 while total sales decreased by 64.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $507,500 - a 19.9% increase over the $423,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Folly Beach in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Folly Beach for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,233, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for January 2017.
