James Island home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in James Island rose by $54,343 while total sales decreased by 23.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $300,443 - a 22.1% increase over the $246,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in James Island in January 2016.

The median sales tax in James Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,253, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for January 2017.
