Summerville home prices fall in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Summerville fell by $47,000 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $152,000 - a 23.6% decrease over the $199,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Summerville in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Summerville for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $862, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for January 2017.
